Phase one is a seven day detox program. It is aimed at eliminating foods that cause bloating. Such foods include gluten, soy, cheese, refined sugar and more. A meal plan is also provided for each day. This meal plan includes only clean foods to nourish the body. Lastly, water consumption is very important. Women need 8-12 glasses per day, while men need 12-16 glasses. Phase two lasts for 21 days and involves taking Zen products, exercise and protein shakes combined with continued clean eating and water consumption. The final phase lasts for 28 days and is meant to reprogram the mind to continue to eat clean foods, as well as allowing yourself to eat one bad meal a week. At this point, it becomes a lifestyle that can be followed daily.
